Welcome to Metropolitan St. Louis Association for Court Administration.

Founded March 28, 1977 in Overland, Missouri, the Metropolitan St. Louis Association for Court Administration (M.S.L.A.C.A.) was created as a way for area Court Administrators to share information & obtain educational training.

Our Association is a not-for-profit Missouri organization. Members elect, every two (2) years a board consisting of a President, Vice- President, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian and five (5) Directors. The board also retains the services of the Immediate Past-President. In addition, the Association boasts numerous committees to encourage membership participation.

We are Region One (1) of Missouri Association for Court Administation (MACA).  MSLACA has over 100 members in St. Louis, St Charles, and Jefferson County.  MSLACA has monthly meeting during the year to help educate court clerks in the area.  

THE PURPOSE OF M.S.L.A.C.A.

The purpose of this Association shall be to define, educate and achieve the art & science of Court Administration through:

Promoting & developing the Association as an agency for the professional benefit of the Court Administrators and/or other officials or persons with the same or similar powers & duties.

  • Promoting a better understanding by the Court Administrator of his/her official duties, obligations & responsibilities. 
  • Establishing & improving methods & procedures in record keeping in the field of Court Administration.
  • Promoting mutual cooperation & assistance between members & non-member Court Administrators.
  •  Urging Association members to be active participants in the Association & performing services which may best meet the interest & needs of the Association & the public we serve as court personnel.
